Who decides in favour of a free wedding ceremony?
Anyone who wants to personalise and individualise their wedding ceremony. But we are also often booked by couples who want a solemn ceremony and no longer wish to be married by the church. And then there are the couples who want a wedding ceremony at a special location, e.g. on the beach. In most cases, this is also only possible with a free wedding ceremony.
Does a symbolic wedding ceremony replace a civil wedding?
No, like a church wedding, it should be seen as an additional ceremony. Only the civil ceremony is recognised by law. However, if you only wish to have a single ceremony, you can supplement the civil wedding with a symbolic wedding ceremony.
How long does a symbolic wedding ceremony last?
Usually symbolic wedding ceremonies are very individual. A celebrant focuses on the bridal couple and their story. Therefore, symbolic wedding ceremonies last between 30 and 45 minutes. They are accompanied by music and are created with one or two symbolic elements.
How much does a celebrant cost for a wedding ceremony?
You should normally expect to pay between 800 and 1300 euros for a wedding ceremony. This depends on how far the speaker has to travel, but also how much time they need to prepare. We usually hold two preliminary talks and write a very personalised speech, and also provide comprehensive advice on the design. The time required is therefore around 12 - 15 hours.
How do I find the perfect speaker for our symbolic wedding ceremony?
