When a loved one leaves us, family and friends often remain shaken and speechless.
The grief makes it almost impossible for the bereaved to find the right words during the farewell.
And who knew him with all his facets? She/He united so many roles within himself/herself. Maybe she/he had a child, was a spouse, friend, colleague.... All these people got to know her/him from very different sides.
To do justice to these facets in a farewell speech and to comprehensively understand the personality of the loved one, to summarize his or her passions or to describe what made her/him become the person she/he was is, so to speak, our calling....
Preparation of the funeral service
In a personal conversation with the bereaved we talk intensively about the deceased in order to write a very personal speech. We also discuss the contents and the course of the funeral service. I would be happy to come to your home or we can meet in my office in Unterschleissheim.
With regard to the design and the speech I will adapt to your ideas. We also discuss what I should particularly express in my speech.
As a funeral orator, I describe the unique path of life of the deceased, but also what made him/her a person. My speech contains beyond the curriculum vitae also the appreciation, which you gave her/him. Finally, I like to include philosophical thoughts about life and farewell in my speech.
Since music forms the emotional tension of the ceremony, I would be happy to advise you on which songs are appropriate for the funeral service. I will also suggest possible farewell rituals (candle ceremony, thoughts in the form of a letter, etc.)
With a personal funeral service you can say goodbye to your loved one. It makes your loss a bit more tangible. I would be happy to accompany you.
Usually the funeral oration takes place in the funeral hall. Afterwards the funeral or urn burial takes place. Sometimes only the funeral service is held in the funeral parlor, with the urn being buried at a later date. I would also like to say a few personal words on this day.
